Crater Lakes Rainforest Cottages is an enchanting sanctuary nestled in the heart of the Atherton Tablelands, just a stone's throw from the sparkling shores of Lake Eacham. Our stay was truly magical, highlighted by the spotless and cozy cottage that beckoned us to create a home away from home. Each morning, we were greeted by the delightful calls of native birds, making our breakfast hamper-specially prepared-taste even sweeter amidst the symphony of the rainforest. The warmth and hospitality of John and Jenny, our fantastic hosts, made all the difference; their genuine care and passion for the place were palpable. From the breathtaking walks near Yungaburra to the mesmerizing beauty of nearby waterfalls, we felt immersed in nature's embrace, leaving us with memories of tranquility and the subtle thrill of wildlife encounters. I couldn't have asked for a better base for my photographic explorations of this rich, vibrant landscape. If you're seeking peace, beauty, and a touch of adventure, I wholeheartedly recommend Crater Lakes.
